The choices we make about how to move through the outer world are comprised of things we can see or hear; work, clothes, the objects we collect, the music we listen to, our spoken words. These things convey an image of  how  we are, but they only hint at  who  we are. When I can accept the reality of the physical world, I am in a good place to begin a journey inward. From there, I can throw myself into the infinite ocean of possibility and the endlessness of constantly arriving. There are no limits to my inner life, who I can become, what I can learn and achieve. There is no ageism or gravity in the vastness of potential. Everyone is welcome here. THE ROAD TO LOCO or Mi Yegua Esta Loca

I bought a horse. A Mare. A thoroughbred/pony cross. She came with a name: Coco. As in Chanel. Yes, Coco Chanel. And in a very short time I have come to believe that she is the equine doppelganger of the Parisian legend herself. She is a singular sensation. The doyenne of her very own horsey dreams; moving forward and striding high.  When you look in her eye, she is all there. I am completely convinced that she has a plan of her own (which may or may not include me). And the truth is...I have no fuckin' idea how to ride her! (Well, I can kinda ride her.) After being in her new home for a bit and feeling more comfortable in her surroundings, she dropped into a heat so hot the geldings forgot they were decommissioned. She called, they came. She winked, they blinked. Of course, there will be no consummation for any of them but....what a show!  Her need to breed was so blatant, we started calling her trollop .
